Latest research of TNS OBOP (Polish research and marketing information company) has shown that there is a substantial lack of engineers in Poland. It is evaluated that in 2009 there will be about 55 000 fewer engineers than needed in such specialties as mechanics, electronic, electro-technique and automation. Production management and planning, as well as technology, are also touched by deficiency of well-qualified workers. Injection Form Designers, Piping Engineers, Founding Specialists, Plastic Specialists, Wooden Technology Experts, Project Managers and Technical Directors are taking their chance to go and work in European Union. As a result of this process finding and employing well-qualified specialist in a technical branch is a challenge for Polish employers. Moreover, predictions are not good - in next five years the lack of engineers will reach 76 000 people.
