The mysterious customer has a special role to fulfill. On the one hand, they do not stand out from the crowd – their task is to remain in hiding and not to be recognized as the Mystery Shopper, who comes to a designated point to check the service level. On the other hand, they represent customers, their "voice" and opinions are intended to bring the question of how the place being estimated is seen by the shopper, both in terms of service and atmosphere, as well as the place itself. The Mysterious Customer must therefore be both an "actor" and a watchful "observer".
